University of Oregon LaCrosse/Soccer Stadium

EUGENE, Ore. - The University of Oregon's new women's soccer and lacrosse complex that not only will replace the existing Pape Field but will enhance the amenities available to the two women's programs.

The site of the current facility, which first opened in 1997 at the west end of the Len Casanova Center, will serve as part of the location for the Casanova expansion and extended football facilities that is scheduled to be completed in the fall of 2013.

The new soccer and lacrosse facility, located south of PK Park in the east parking lot of Autzen Stadium, is anticipated to be ready for use during the summer of 2012.

As a result of the construction, Oregon's women's lacrosse team will play its 2012 spring season on one of the University's Physical Education and Recreation turf fields west of Hayward Field.
